Steve === This was a Schwinn I bought for $35, in 1993, in Columbia, MO. I kept it till 1994, when I sold it for $35 to my roommate. He kept it until he graduated. It was practically brand new when I bought it. I would have kept it, if I knew what I know now :)
I don´t like cleaning out things, but when it´s done, I feel very good. I´m impressed you still know the details about your bike on this (nice) photos.
As you say it's too late now! There is no going back.
